Molly Bernstein joined the firm as an associate in October 2024. Prior to joining TPM, Molly clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the DC Court of Appeals. At TPM, her practice includes civil rights and environmental litigation in federal courts.
Ms. Bernstein currently works on Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. v. Adult and Prison Education Resources Working Group, et al., challenging the systemic failure of Delaware institutions to provide special education services to incarcerated students with disabilities aged 18-22. More information related to this case is available here. Molly also works on attorneys’ fees litigation and represents individual members of the plaintiff class in their Medicaid claims pursuant to Salazar v .District of Columbia.
Ms. Bernstein earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Master’s degree in international development from the Georgetown University Graduate School of Foreign Service. She graduated from the evening program at the Georgetown University Law Center in 2023. She previously worked internationally across the private sector, journalism, and advocacy. During law school, she worked in criminal legal reform advocacy.
