Stephanie Ann Madison joined the firm as an associate in 2015.
Ms. Madison graduated from The University of Maryland in 2008 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2014.
During law school, Ms. Madison was a Public Interest Fellow and served as a summer law clerk at the DC Public Defender Service and the Alameda County Public Defender. She interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in both the Appellate Division and the Office of the General Counsel and she worked at a law firm representing plaintiffs in employment litigation. Ms. Madison also served as a student attorney, and later as a graduate legal assistant, with Georgetown Law’s Juvenile Justice Clinic where she represented juveniles charged with felonies and misdemeanors.
Following law school, Ms. Madison worked at the American Civil Liberties Union as a Litigation Fellow for the National Prison Project. She represented clients in class actions challenging conditions in prisons, jails, and immigration detention facilities based on constitutional and statutory violations.
Ms. Madison is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
